I've seen some of Snyder's movies and enjoyed them, such as 300, Watchmen, and Batman vs Superman. This book is an incredibly detailed and interesting account that gives me a much fuller picture of the context of the creation of these movies and makes me want to watch some of his other movies. You can tell the author put a ton of work and research in this and I recommend to not just fans of Snyder, but fans of movies as well, as it gives a lot of entertaining behind the scenes parts to movie-making. This is an encyclopaedic effort yet it grips you from the first page and keeps a hold of you until the very end. This is well worth your time, money and attention.
